Dr Nisha Kumari, Professor and HOD , Department of Roga nidana and vikruthi vijnana, Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital has delivered a session on the topic “ Rationality behind Ancient Diagnostic Methods- Merits and Limitations “ for an International Ayurveda Conference conducted by KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, Belgavi on 27 th and 28 th of December 2024.

Dr. Akhil Manoj, Senior Resident Surgical Officer from the Department of Shalya Tantra, Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital and a certified BLS Provider (MAHE, Manipal), conducted an informative session on Basic Life Support (BLS) for the lifeguards of UVA Meridian Amusement Park. The session covered essential BLS procedures, emphasizing the importance of BLS knowledge in handling emergencies. Key topics included common injuries and emergencies, CPR and defibrillation basics, spinal injury management, heat-related illnesses, and the development of an effective emergency action plan.
