Model submission by 1st year – March 2025
The students of 1st year showcased their talent, creativity and skill by actively participating in model making activity conducted by the department of Samhitha, Siddhantha and Samskrutha under the able guidance of Prof and H.O.D of the department Dr.Nikitha.Alewoor
The non-teaching practical hours were utilized to plan and execute the project. The students were divided into groups of 10, the present batch has a strength of 99 students.
After they were divided into groups, they were assigned with topics related to Ayurveda itihasa, Padartha Vignana , Samhitha Adyayana for Model Making.
Then in the weekly Non-Teaching hours
- The students were trained about the Model Making Art.
- Articles and things that can be used were being told.
- References were informed
- Student thoughts and opinions were discussed group wise
- Students were encouraged to read different texts and references to understand deeply about the assigned topic.
Then on 19/03/2025 (Wednesday) the students were requested to submit their project to the Department.
The event was organized in the 1st year class and our Esteemed Principal was requested to be the Guest Of Honor for the event, H.O.D Dr.Nikitha, Asst .Prof .Dr. Pranesh.Verna also presided over.
Student of the 1st year Miss. Sinchana was the Master of Ceremony. The Principal and Dignitaries were welcomed with Flowers.
A total of 14 models were made by the students. The groups were invited to submit their models to the Principal, H.O.D and Asst. Prof respectively as per their Roll Numbers
Each group had an assigned leader who explained about the Model. Its references and experience while making it, thus boosting the public speaking skills in students, language modulation and shloka chanting.
After the submissions were made the Principal addressed the students, he appreciated their skilled art and models, he also enlightened them about studying various other topics from different books to expand their knowledge about ayurveda, he guided them to develop language speaking skills, he also encouraged students to actively participate in article writing competitions too.
Then the H.O.D took a moment to appreciate and applaud the students for their dedication and hard work and timely submissions
The Principal Sir was asked to choose the best 3 Models and students were awarded with pack of 10 pens sponsored by the department head as a token of appreciation as students must know hard work and quality will always be awarded.
However a surprise element was announced a Bumper Price was announced and Assistant Professor Dr, Pranesh was request to choose the best one in the remaining 11 and they were also awarded.
The LIST OF MODELS was submitted by the Class Representatives Miss.Varshini and Mr. Harshith to the H.O.D.
Vote of thanks was given by the Master of Ceremony and the event was concluded with positivity and gratitude
