World no tobacco day programme
May 31, 2024 – World No tobacco day was observed at Kundapura rural ayurveda medical college and hospital, Koteshwara from 9 am to 12 noon in association with Taluk legal service committee, vakkeelara sangha, abiyoga ilake, police ilake, arogya ilake. The dais was occupied by the guests of honour including Sri. Raju N, Judge and President , Kundapura Taluk legal Service committee, Sri. Handattu Pramodahanthe, President, Kundapura lawyers association, Srimathi. Manjula B, Mr Uday kumar B A, Public prosecutor, Kumari Geetha Patil, DySP , Kundapura, Dr Premananda K , Taluk Health officer and our Principal Dr S G Prasanna Aithal.
The programme was inaugurated and our students were addressed by all of them. An awareness session about the ill effects of Tobacco was delivered by THO. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Savitha Prasanna Aithal, Professor and HOD. The master of the ceremony was Dr Parikshitha Navada, Assistant professor, Department of Rasa sasthra and Bhaishajya Kalpana . The programme was very well organised by the Department of Agada tantra, KRAMCH- Dr Dhanya K U , Associate Professor , Dr Hema A G, Assistant Professor , Dr Prathap Varma, Associate Professor, Department of Rasa sasthra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, Dr Akhil Manoj, RMO and coordination of all other staff and students. All the teaching, non teaching, hospital staff and students of our college participated in the session. Later an awareness skit was performed by the second professional students.
