Virtual Surya Namskara Programme conducted on the day of Makar Sankranti by KRAMCH & NCISM on the occasion of celebrating “Azadi Ka Amritmahotsava” by the Indian Government.
Virtual Surya Namaskaram Programme was organized to mark the day of Makar Sankranti by NCISM, Government of India and KRAMCH to commemorate the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava by the Indian Government. The Event aimed at including 75 lakh participants virtually all over the globe to practice Surya Namaskara on 14 Jan 2022 observing COVID-19 appropriate behavior.
Therefore, on 14 Jan 2022, all employees at Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital participated in the event. The program was scheduled for 8.30 am and all participants took part in it with great enthusiasm. Most of the participants had worn the white attire and performed the Yogasanas in a systematic manner to the instructions given by the Assistant Professor in Swasthavritta Department Dr. Rajesh Chandran P. In unison all performed the Yogasanas and there on delivered their salutations to the sun on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranthi.
Makar Sankranthi is the festival of thanksgiving to mother nature. It’s also the time of transition of the Sun from one phase to another. All new beginnings done today will bear fruits all through the year is the common belief among people. So this event henceforth makes way for many such programs conducted with a positive approach which aim at bringing the fad of healthy living back to our societies.
Every individual who participated got a certificate of participation for the same. Many such events will be jointly organized in coming days to build awareness in the public.
