Green Challenge 2024

Green challenge program 2024 was conducted on August 1 by the combined efforts of Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Koteshwara, Kumbashi Gramapanchayath and Rotary club at Srinidhi complex, Korawady. The presidential address was delivered by Dr S G Prasanna Aithal, Principal of our college. The welcome speech was given by Dr Savitha K Bhat, Professor, Department of Rasasasthra and Bhaishajya Kalpana. MLA, Kiran Kumar Kodgi addressed the people with his appreciation words. The awareness talks and felicitations were delivered by the chief guests including Kundapura Forest Officer, Mr Raghavendra M Naik, Gopadi Grampanchayath adyakshar Mr Suresh Shetty, Kumbashi Grampanchayath adyakshar Mr Ananda Poojary, Korawady Rotary club president, Mr K P Narasimha Budya, Kumbashi Grampanchayath PDO, Mr Jayaram Shetty and Grampanchayath member Srimathi Radha Das. The official inauguration was done by all the persons who occupied the dias. Dr Madhusoodhanan and Mr Kalmady Satish Kamath were felicitated in the occasion for their valuable contributions to nature conservation, prevention of water pollution and social and environmental works done. Mrs Swetha delivered the vote of thanks and Mrs Supritha Puranika was the master of ceremony. Dr Hariprasad Shetty, professor, Department of Drabya Guna vijnana, Dr Raghavendra LP, Assistant professor , Mr Pradeep Kumar Shetty, AO, Dr Akhil Manoj , Dr Hema A G, Mr Arjun Das and other staff and second professional BAMS students attended the program and participated in the challenge by planting more than 300 saplings in the various areas of Kumbashi and Korawady Grampanchayaths and Sri Anagudde Vinayaka temple premises
