Charaka Jayanti 2024
Charaka Jayanti was celebrated on 9th of August, 2024.On account of this, celebration was conducted in Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital Koteshwara hosted by the department of Samhita Siddhanta and Samskrutha.
Parayana of Deergham jeeviteeyam Adhyayam was conducted by Dr.Aswathi.T.P, Assistant Professor later on Dr.Pranesha Varna, Assistant Professor dealt about the method of reading commentary. Followed by which an essay writing competition was held for the BAMS students on topic ‘Charaka’s perspectives on types of Vaidya and its significance in present scenario’. In total 19 students participated in the competition.
