Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital in association with Eagles Cricket Club, Kumbashi had organized a Mega Ayurveda Free Medical Camp at Kumbashi on 10th October 2021 in the Government Primary School Campus at Kumbashi. The event was inaugurated by Shri. Kota. ShrinivasPoojary, Minister of Social Welfare Department and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Karnataka. The event was presided over by the Dr. S. G PrasannaAithal, Principal and Medical Superintendent of Kundapura Rural Ayurveda College and Hospital. The Doctors of Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Hospital had consulted more than 300 patients on the day. Treatment to various diseases like Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Low Back pain, Sciatica, Appendicitis, Obesity, Rheumatism, Ulcers, Piles, Fistula, Obstertic Problems, Allergy, Psoriasis, Paralysis, Thyroid, Bronchitis, Asthamaetc were prescribed. In this camp we provided free ayurvedic checkup and free ayurvedic medicines to the needy. A number of people in and around the vicinity of Kumbashi had made good use of the medical camp facilities for themselves, their families and near and dear ones. Advice was given regarding lifestyle management for better health and how one can prevent diseases were also advised. The ability of Ayurvedic medicine to improve immunity was stressed upon. Most patients at the event have made use of the facilities available at the camp and a good number of patients have made use of the amenities at the Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Hospital for further care.
