Free Ayurvedic Medical Camp organized by Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Medical Hospital, Koteshwara on April 10th at Bhatkal:Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Medical Hospital, Koteshwara in association with Inayathulla Shabandari Fans Club organized a “Free Ayurvedic Medical Camp” on April 10th in Bhatkal. The venue was at “Aqib Villa”, Shadi Hall, Behind Hotel Shrinivas Deluxe, Near Bus Stand Bhatkal from morning 10 am to 5 pm.
Ayurvedic Specialists Physicians have consulted more than 400 patients on the occasion. The expert team of doctors included Dr. Sridhar Rao in Shalyatantra (Department of Surgery), Dr. Prasanna Aithal in Panchakarma (Department of Panchakarma), Dr.Suraj.A.R in Kayachikitsa (Department of General Medicine), Dr. Swathi. P J in Shalakya Tantra (ENT and Opthalmology ), Dr. Archana K in Koumarabhritya (Department of Paediatrics), Dr. Veenakumari in Prasootitantra and Stree Roga (Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics), Dr. Rajesh Chandran in Swasthavritta and Yoga(Department of Yoga and Preventive Medicine).The event helped a lot of ailing patients in and around Bhatkal. Treatment of diseases like Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Back pain, Sciatica, Appendicitis, Obesity, Rheumatism, ulcers, Piles, Fistula, Obstetric problems, Allergy, Psoriasis, Paralysis, Thyroid, Bronchitis, etc were prescribed.The patient who needed further care were referred to the Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Hospital in Koteshwara. Free medicines were made available at the venue. The advice was given regarding lifestyle management for better health and how one can prevent diseases were also advised. The ability of Ayurvedic medicine to improve immunity was stressed upon.Most patients at the event have made use of the facilities available at the camp and a good number of patients have made use of the amenities at the Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Hospital for further care.
