World Environment Day Programmes
On 5th June 2023, World Environment Day programmes were organised at Kundapura rural ayurveda medical college and hospital, Koteshwara. To create a greener environment and to make the earth more healthier, happier place to live many medicinal plants like Aaragwadha, Jyothishmathi, Agaru, Putranjeevaka, Kadamba, Shyonaka, Pareesha, Vaataada etc were planted in the campus by the faculties and students. And also to promote the theme of the year, #beat plastic pollution and restoring the ecosystem. Swachh campus campaign was held in the campus and was successfully coordinated by College and Hospital staffs and students.
An interactive session was held explaining the importance of preservation of plants and their medicinal uses by the HOD and Professor of the Department of Dravyaguna, Dr.Hariprasad Shetty. And also two of our students Supriya yadav and Yashaswini presented the topics about environmental pollution and conservation of water respectively.
