Amrutheshwari Trust

प्रयोजनं च आयुर्वेदस्य आयुष्यं पुण्यं The purpose of Ayurveda is a life that is long, wholesome and virtuous.

Founded by Dr. S.M. Sridhar Rao and Dr. Muralikrishna Bhat with a singular intent to promote and propagate the Ayurvedic system of Indian medicine, the Amrutheshwari Educational Trust has grown into a body of passionate individuals united by one common purpose — the health and wellbeing of the people. Under the steady leadership of President Mr. Anand C Kunder and the collective dedication of its trustees, the Trust has built an institution that stands as a living expression of that founding purpose.

Keeping this conviction at heart, we established the Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital with one resolute ambition: to bring quality healthcare and education to the common people of Kundapura. In the wake of the recent pandemic, the world has witnessed firsthand how precious and indispensable good healthcare truly is. At the same time, the world has begun to recognise and celebrate the rich wisdom of Ayurveda, India's ancient medical tradition, whose timeless knowledge is today being acknowledged and praised across the globe. A society that is healthy and aware walks confidently toward a brighter tomorrow, and the Amrutheshwari Trust has always believed that true service lies in building that society, with sincerity and purpose. Be it organising free medical camps, distributing medicines to those in need or supporting every initiative of KRAMCH, the Trust remains steadfast in its commitment to the wellbeing of the community. We are, and shall always remain, at the service of the people.

Two stalwarts of the hospitality industry, Bailur Uday Kumar Shetty and Bailur Vinay Kumar Shetty, have together stepped into the realm of healthcare and education, carrying with them a legacy of excellence that speaks for itself.
